West Virginia Household Income Is Worst in Country

West Virginia’s household income is one of the worst in the country. New Census Bureau numbers show the state with a median household income of just over 43-thousand-dollars, far below the 57-thousand-dollar national average. West Virginia also sits near the bottom in terms of the poverty level with only Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, New Mexico and Washington, DC showing worse statistics.
