Hurricane Blood Drive – Friday February 22nd
The Putnam County Chamber of Commerce Network of Women will be holding an American Red Cross blood drive from 1:00pm – 6:30pm at the City of Hurricane Municipal Building, 3255 Teays Valley Rd.,Hurricane. FREE Community Dinner – Friday February 22nd

Used Book Sale – Friday February 22nd
The Advisory Board for the St. Albans branch of the Kanawha County Public Library will be holding a used book sale from 1:00pm – 5:30pm and Saturday from 10:00am – 1:30pm on the Second – floor Community Room of the St. Albans Library. ‘Mission Possible’ Fashion Show – Saturday February 23rd
The National Sorority of Phi Delta Kappa Inc. and Mountain Mission proudly presents the “Mission Possible” fashion show at the Columbia Gas Auditorium, 1700 MacCorkle Ave. S.E., Charleston. The event will start at 4:00pm and admission is $10.00 per person. Models will walk the runway with clothing provided by the Mountain Mission all to show the quality and terrific styles available at the Mission. Also the show will highlight Mountain Missions programs including social services and emergency assistance.
5th Annual Red Evening Affair – Saturday February 23rd
The Charleston Women’s Improvement League will host the 5th annual Red Evening Affair from 6:00pm – 11:00pm at the West Virginia State University Wilson Student Union. The evening will include music, a buffet dinner(from 6:30pm – 8:00pm), cash bar, and a silent auction. Admission is $40.00 and attire is cocktail/evening wear.
13th Annual Heart & Soul Dinner – Saturday February 23rd
The 13th Annual Heart & Soul dinner will be held from 11:00am – 2:00pm at the Ruffner Neighborhood Center on Charleston’s East End. Area cook both professional and amateur will be dishing up a variety of tasty treats throughout the event!!! Diners can purchase tickets for $0.50 cents a piece and exchange them for food or beverages. Prices range from one ticket to six. All proceeds from this event will go towards providing support of the Charleston Family Recourse Center.

14th Annual Model Railroad Show – Saturday and Sunday February 23rd & 24th
The Kanawha Valley Railroad Association will hold its 14th Annual at the Arena Event Center in St. Albans. Admission is $5.00 and children 12 and under are free. This years event will be three times larger and will include…. new and used model train equipment, operating layouts, crafts, handmade goods, and concessions.
