St. Albans Festival of Lights – Now thru December 26th(Closed on December 24th and 25th)
The annual Saint Albans Festival of Lights is an ever-growing public display of seasonal decorations that light up the City Park Property in Historical Saint Albans, West Virginia. 2019 Hours of Operation: Hours: 6pm – 9pm Nightly Open 11/29 – 12/23 Closed Dec. 24th, Dec 25th Re-opens Dec. 26th Come by, bring the kids to meet Santa and enjoy the sights and sounds of the holiday season. The Saint Albans Festival of Lights Committee would like to especially thank all the volunteers and sponsors for their effort into making this annual display a success.
22nd Annual Dunbar Tree Lighting Ceremony – Friday December 6th
The annual Tree Lighting and time with Santa will begin immediately after the parade in front of City Hall on Myers Avenue. Bring your own camera for a photo session with Santa. Hot chocolate will be served during the tree lighting ceremony.

Christmas Variety Show – Friday December 6th
St. Andrews United Methodist Church, 815 Kanawha Terrace, will host a family Christmas Variety Show starting at 7:00pm in the main sanctuary. Performers will include the St. Andrew UMC Ringers Bell Choir and the St. Andrew UMC Choir among other great performaces throughout the evening. Refreshments will be served during intermission. Admission is free, but a donation to the St. Albans food pantry would be greatly appreciated.
Jingle Bell Run – Saturday December 7th
The Arthritis Foundation will be hosting its annual Jingle Bell Run 5K Race/Walk at the TC Energy Building( formally Columbia Pipeline Group headquarters). Onsite registration will begin at 8:00am, and a kid’s fun run/obstetrical course will take place from 8:00am – 9:00am. The 5K will begin at 9:00am with awards following at 10:00am. Sissonville Santa Breakfast – Saturday December 7th
The Sissonville Women’s Club will host a breakfast with Santa from 8:00am – 10:00am at Sissonville High School. On the menu will be pancakes and all the fixings!!! The cost is $4.00 for Adults and $3.00 for children. Pictures with Santa will also be available for $3.00.
2nd Annual Campbell’s Creek Christmas Bazaar – Saturday December 7th
The 2nd annual Christmas Campbell’s Creek Christmas Bazaar will be held at Fair Haven Church’s gymnasium from 10:00am – 3:00pm. There will vendors, crafters, and concession all available throughout the event. Plus Santa will also be there to take pictures. For more details call (304)356-6343.
Marmet Breakfast with Santa – Saturday December 7th
Have breakfast with Santa Claus at the Marmet Woman’s Club beginning at 10:00am. Pictures will also be available to take home after the event.
34th Annual Pratt Christmas Bazaar – Saturday December 7th
The 34th annual Pratt Old Town Christmas Bazaar and hot dog/BBQ sale will be at Town Hall from 10:00am – 4:00pm. All proceeds from the event will towards maintenance and upkeep of the building.
Dunbar Santa and Friends Breakfast – Saturday December 7th
Dunbar United Methodist Church will host its annual Breakfast with Santa and Friends from 8:00am – 12:00pm. Not only will Santa be there, but also he is bringing plenty of friends for the kids to meet. On the menu will be pancakes, sausage, juice, milk, and coffee. Breakfast is $6.00 for Adults, $4.00 for children 4 – 12, and children under 4 can eat for free with a paying adult. There will also be a “Good as New” sale during the event. Volleyball Tournament – Saturday December 7th
The North Charleston Community Center and Charleston Parks and Recreation Department will be hosting the annual Christmas Scramble Volleyball tournament for ages 16 and older. Registration will begin at 8:45am and play will start at 9:00am. For the “sixes” games the cost is $20.00 per person. All proceeds will go to the Daymark Teen Foster Home. Cookie Sale – Saturday December 7th
Tabor United Methodist Church in Pinch will be hosting a cookie sale from 11:00am -2:00pm. All types of cookies will be available for purchase individually or by the dozen.
S’mores with Santa – Saturday December 7th
Following the annual Christmas Parade from 8:00pm – 9:00pm the Pinch Volunteer Fire Department will have toasty fires ready for the young ones to roast marshmallows and make s’mores. There will also have hot cocoa as well, across the street in the lot from the Fire Station. Plus Santa will also be there!!! This is an out door event and will take place regardless of weather following the parade.
19th Annual West Teays Elementary School Craft Fairs – Saturday December 7th
West Teays Elementary will host its 19th annual Craft Fair from 9:00am – 4:00pm in the former Magic Mart Building at Liberty Square Shopping Center. For more details call or vendor space (304)549-4761.
Hayes Middle School Holiday Bazaar – Saturday December 7th
Hayes middle School will be hosting a Holiday Bazaar from 10:00am – 3:00pm at the Middle School. Along with crafters there will also be hot dogs and other food items for purchase.
Santa’s Workshop & Holiday Open House – Saturday December 7th
Edgewood Summit will be holding their annual Santa’s Workshop and Holiday Open House from 10:00am – 2:00pm. Local vendors will be on hand with a great variety of gift and crafts. Plus the kids can visit with Santa while you shop from 11:00am – 1:00pm!!! There will be live entertainment and the Courtyard Cafe will be open for lunch.
