Billy Brown

Billy grew up in Wheeling, WV where he began his radio career as a Sophomore in High School working behind the scenes making sure Pirate Baseball games and Sunday morning religious programming aired on WKWK Radio.

In 1988, while working at B-104 (WBSB) in Baltimore, Billy got to go to Philadelphia and guest host Dance Party USA on the USA TV Network.  While working at Star 94 (WSTR) in Atlanta, Billy was the host of BHTV (Beverly Hills TV)on WAGA TV Fox 5.  He has also worked in Washington DC at Power 105 (WAVA).  Power 99 (WAPW) in Atlanta, B-97 in New Orleans, US 103.5 in Tampa and while at 99.9 Kiss Country in Miami, Billy taught a broadcasting course at Broward Community College in 2006.  He moved back to West Virginia in 2017 and joined the WQBE family in 2022.

The most important things in Billy’s life are his two daughters and grandson.  Look for Billy on the golf course or the bowling lanes and be sure to tune in for his show every Monday through Friday from 3:00pm-7:00pm on 97.5 WQBE!
