New Spending Bill
The new spending bill that Congress will vote on this week will include more than 800-million dollars to fight opioid abuse. Senator Shelley Moore Capito told reporters Monday, that the money would be used to improve overdose reversal and treatment and provides more funding for community health centers. Capito also said there is funding in the bill to assist with West Virginia flood recovery.
