Coal Burning Power Plants
A couple of coal burning power plants across the Ohio River in Adams County are scheduled to be shut down next year. Dayton Power and Light says it will stop production at both the Killen and J.M. Stuart plants in the middle of 2018. Last year, those two plants purchased nearly 570-thousand tons of West Virginia mined coal.
