WVU Funding for Stroke Research

WVU is getting more than a quarter-of-a-million-dollars in federal funding for stroke research. The money was announced this week in Washington, which will be given to the school from the National Institute on Aging. The program aims to train the next generation of stroke researchers and will select the best students to teach. The WVU Health Science Center will prepare them with the skills, knowledge and acumen needed for a successful career in stroke research.
