Thousands without power
About 7,200 customers remain without electricity two days after severe thunderstorms blew through southern West Virginia. Appalachian Power says on its website that nearly 7,600 customers in Raleigh County were without service Sunday afternoon. The company says broken and uprooted trees caused widespread damage in the county.
