Nicholas Co. Man Faces Charges for Social Media Threat

A man is facing felony charges for threatening the Nicholas County school’s superintendent on Social Media. James Swartz made the threatening post toward Superintendent Dr. Donna Burge-Tetrick after she proposed to consolidate five schools in Nicholas County, saying on Facebook, “why don’t one of our rednecks just shoot her. not dead, just a shoulder injury would do.” Swartz was arraigned Tuesday.
