Mayor Emanuel’s 2018 budget proposal

Mayor Emanuel will release his 2018 budget proposal today. It includes an increase in the 9-1-1 phone tax that’s expected to raise 30-million dollars for 9-1-1 center improvements and to help shore up the Laborers Pension Fund.
