Just Before Fatal Crash, a 13-Year Old Boy Left ResCare

Investigators say the person killed in an accident Wednesday was a 13-year old boys. It happened around 7:45pm on Woodward Drive near Blackwell Drive, according to a news release from the Charleston Police Department. 13-year old Jeremy Bush was a resident of the ResCare facility and took off on his own in a Dodge Caravan before crashing into a retaining wall. DHHR is conducting an investigation of its own, along with Charleston police.
