The IRS estimates that just on Tuesday, more than 60-thousand returns were filed on paper and another 30-thousand were e-filed. Those seeking a refund as a direct deposit can expect to see their money in their account in early May, but if you elected to get a paper check refund, it could be summertime before that check arrives in the mail.
