Greyhound fund account

A change made in the wording of the new state budget will pump some money back into the greyhound purse fund account. Governor Tomblin deleted the word “Thoroughbred” from the Licensed Racetrack Thoroughbred Regular Purse Fund. That change means the dog tracks in Wheeling and Nitro will see a benefit of as much as two-and-a-half-million-dollars.
