Chemical spill

Federal agencies are working with local officials in West Virginia to investigate this past weekend’s chemical spill. A rail car loaded with chlorine ruptured Saturday morning in Proctor at the Axiall Plant and led to respiratory problems for several workers. They’re looking at the rail car where the leak started to figure out what led to the trouble. It may take several weeks before the case is closed.
