Sobriety Checkpoint Planned for Thursday

The Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office wants drivers to know they’ll be watching. Deputies will be conducting a high visibility sobriety checkpoint Thursday night from 7 to midnight on Big Tyler Road in Cross Lanes. It’s part of the zero tolerance policy targeting drunk and impaired drives throughout the year, in partnership with the Governor’s Highway Safety Program.
