School Guidance Counselor Faces Drug Charges
A guidance counselor at East Bank Middle School who has been on a leave of absence has been arrested again on drug charges. 42-year old Matthew Anderson of South Charleston was arrested by Nitro police Thursday morning after a traffic stop, and Eyewitness News reports he’s charged with possession with intent to deliver meth and driving under the influence of drugs. According to a personnel agenda from Kanawha County Schools, Anderson began a leave of absence from his job beginning Aug. 25, 2017 and has prior drug arrests.
