Pratt man accused of stealing copper from coal mine

A Pratt man is under arrest for trying to steal copper from the Lexington Coal Mine. Fayette County deputies were called out for someone trespassing when they found 32-year-old Jamie King trying to steal circuit breakers and copper cabling out of a building. King did extensive damage to equipment, he’s charged with destruction of property and breaking and entering.
