Man posing as deputy over the phone

The Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office says a man is posing as a deputy and making calls demanding money. The man claims to be Deputy Dwight Meadows and demands payment by phone with prepaid cards. The sheriff’s office says they may tell you to go to the courthouse, but they will not ask you to pay over the phone.
