Grief after floods

The body of Mykala Phillips was the last to be found after this summer’s thousand-year flood in West Virginia claimed the lives of 23 people. And the 14-year-old girl’s parents and brothers have only begun to deal with their grief. Her father James Phillips had his teeth knocked out trying to save his family as torrential water destroyed their house and everything they had inside. But the emotional pain is much harder to bear.
