WV students take part in national walkout

West Virginia students and teachers will take part in today’s national school walkout. EMPOWER, the group organizing the protest, says the walkout will happen at 10 a.m. and last for 17 minutes in honor of the 17 people killed in the Florida school shooting, and to advocate for stricter gun control laws.
