WV Hospitals

West Virginia University Hospitals is one of the top academic medical centers in the county. A new study placed WVUH at number six out of more than 200 participating organizations. Multiple factors are used to determine the rankings, including mortality, safety, efficiency, effectiveness and equity. WVU Medicine-WVU Hospitals received Vizient’s Quality Leadership Award for superior performance.
