Woman pleads guilty to neglecting her mother
A Charleston woman has pleaded guilty to neglecting her mother and spending over 70-thousand-dollars of her money without approval. Amanda Reavis is charged with neglecting and financially exploiting an incapacitated adult. She is accused of abandoning her mother for days and accessing her bank account without authorization. Reavis faces 15 to 35 years home confinement and a five-thousand-dollar fine.
