Treatment program in jail

The state’s first inpatient treatment center in a regional jail is now open. The 28-bed Residential Substance Abuse Treatment center opened yesterday at the Southwestern Regional Jail. The Division of Corrections has nine other similar facilities in the state’s prison system, but this is the first in a regional jail.
