Thieves Who Tried to Pawn Goods Are Still on the Loose

The investigation is on after someone swiped construction equipment in Sissonville. Sgt B-D Humphreys says it happend August 20th – more than 10 days ago – on a lot in the 6200 block of Sissonville Drive. Two men tried to pawn some tools at the Kanawha Valley Fine Jewelry and Loan to pawn on August 25th, and an alert clerk called officers, but the men left before deputies got there. Surveillance footage at the store caputured some images, but anyone with tips should contact the Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office with an anonymous tip or submit one at www.kanawhasheriff.us.
