Students Visit the Capitol

Educators celebrated school health reform achievements made over the last three years at the Capitol yesterday. The goal is to focus on efforts to keep students moving. Elementary students started their day at the Culture Center watching the Barboursville Elementary Village Magic Jump Rope Team, before meeting First Lady Tomblin. Yesterday’s focus wasn’t just on physical health. One session focused on mental health, as well, by discouraging students from bullying.
