State Supreme Court appointees can be seated

Representative Evan Jenkins and former House of Delegates speaker Tim Armstead are eligible to serve on the state Supreme Court. The high court ruled that both Republicans appointed by Governor Justice can serve on the court until the November 6th special election. A lawsuit challenging their appointments was dismissed on a technicality.
