St. Albans May Add New Tactical Training Facility

City leaders in St. Albans this week passed a petition to go to the Planning and Zoning Commission for a potential new business on Walnut Street. The space used to belong to Higher Ground Christian Fellowship and has been vacant for more than a year. Things are moving toward making the space into a training facililty that could be used for law enforcement, but could also be used for the public. A zoning change would be necessary first, and that’s on its way to the Planning and Zoning Commission now.
