Public Hearing Today Welcomes Comments on Mental Health and the Criminal Justice System

An all-day meeting today on civil rights will give you the chance to weigh in. An advisory group is holding the civil rights panel to talk about treatment of those with mental health issues in the state criminal justice system. Public comments start at 3:30 this afternoon in the House Government Organization Committee Room at the State Capitol. The panel is going to review everything from police shootings to mental health courts.
