Pharmacy reaches $550,000 settlement over prescription pain killers

The West Virginia Attorney General’s Office has reached a 550-thousand-dollar settlement with a Boone County pharmacy accused of dispensing nearly ten-million doses of addictive prescription painkillers. The settlement resolves allegations that Larry’s Drive-In Pharmacy helped fuel the state’s opioid crisis. The pharmacy went out of business during the litigation.
