New Parking Meters Planned for Downtown Charleston

More than two hundred new parking meters are coming to downtown Charleston. The city council said yes to to purchase more smart meters that will go up in the downtown business district in places like Summers Street and Capitol Street, and it will allow you to pay through a smart phone app. The new parking meters will be installed over the next few months.
