Mountaineer Gas

Before the rumor mill gets out of hand, Mountaineer Gas says it plans to hold several meetings after the first of the year about the expansion of a Eastern Panhandle gas line. The 24 mile stretch would run through Morgan County to Martinsburg. The new line would run near Back Creek, but Mountaineer says it will have minimal impact on the environment. The permits should be filed in early 2017, with construction to begin in 2018.
