Man pleads guilty to animal cruelty
The man accused of hanging a dog from a tree has pleaded guilty to animal cruelty charges. John Copening, Jr. pleaded guilty to felony animal cruelty in the incident that happened in April on Madison Street. He’s expected to be sentenced in October.
