Man in custody after police standoff

A man is in custody after a police standoff. It happened around 5:30 Tuesday evening on Hunter’s Ridge Road. Family members got into a struggle over a gun, which turned into a hostage situation. After several hours of negotiating the suspect surrendered, and no one was hurt. The man was taken to the hospital for observation, and charges are pending.
