Legendary Basketball Coach at Fairmont State Has Died

Fairmont State University basketball legend Joe Retton has passed away. Retton passed away Wednesday morning at the age of 82.
Retton was the men’s head basketball coach from 1964 to 1981, and iInducted into Fairmont’s Hall of Fame in 1993. The basketball arena on campus at Fairmont State, Joe Retton Arena, is named after him.
