Kanawha County Man is Charged with Murder

A man has been charged after he shot and killed a neighbor who sprayed him with bug spray during an argument, according to the Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office. 62-year old Randall Douglas Woods of Clendenin is charged with first-degree murder and malicious wounding following a shooting that was reported about 1:15 p.m. Wednesday. David Elmore Jr. of Clendenin died at the scene. Woods was detained and taken to the sheriff’s office headquarters and was charged after the sheriff’s office consulted with the Kanawha County Prosecutor’s Office.
