Greenbrier Classic Draws Big Names

It’s almost time for golf at the Greenbrier, and some big names will be part of the tournament this weekend. Five-time major winner Phil Mickelson will headline the field that includes 65 players who have won on the PGA Tour. Two-time Masters champion and Greenbrier Sporting Club member Bubba Watson is the highest ranked player in the field. The tournament was officially renamed A Military Tribute at the Greenbrier in June. Practice rounds are today and tomorrow on The Old White TPC. On Wednesday, July 4, celebrities will team up with tour professionals in the annual Pro-Am. The tournament officially begins on Thursday and runs through Saturday.
