Governor requesting Superfund Site designation

Governor Justice is asking for a Superfund Site designation for the Shaffer Equipment/Arbuckle Creek area in Minden. The site is the cause of PCB contamination in the area. Soil testing was recently completed and the results are under review. The Governor sent a letter to the EPA last Friday, citing a risk to public health and the environment.
