Governor names interim Secretary of Commerce

Governor Jim Justice name W. Clayton Burch as interim secretary of the West Virginia Department of Commerce Friday. Burch has been acting secretary of the Department of Education and the Arts. Commerce Secretary Woody Thrasher resigned last week amid complaints of mismanagement of the flood recovery program.
