Garbage Truck Worker is Killed in Traffic Accident

The City of Charleston lost one of its workers in an accident on I-77 Saturday afternoon. The city employee was killed and two others were injured when a garbage truck crashed on I-77 near the I-64. It happened around noon Saturday, and all three passengers who were in the truck were ejected. The investigation into what caused the accident is continuing.
