Former government worker pleads guilty to embezzlement

A former employee of the McDowell County Probation Department and the West Virginia Supreme Court has pleaded guilty to embezzlement. Candace Thomas is accused of using a state credit card to buy two 700 dollar TV’s and then pawned them to get cash. Thomas received two years probation.
