Father accused of shaking infant will stay in jail

A Jackson County man accused of shaking and choking his infant daughter won’t have his bail lowered. Twenty-four-year-old Jeffrey Hoskins is charged with child abuse after his 6-month-old daughter was found unconscious and not breathing earlier this month. The baby is still on a ventilator and hasn’t regained consciousness.
