Fatal Motorcycle Accident is Under Investigation

An accident east of Hughes Creek Road on Route 60 in Kanawha County over the weekend leaves one person dead. The driver, 32 year old Thomas Joe Edelman of Smithers was killed when he lost control of his motorcycle and hit the concrete median on Route 60 near Hughes Creek. An accident reconstruction expert with the Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office will complete the investigation to see what made Edelman lose control.
