Accused Mink Shoals Shooter Could Face Charges

A shooting near Mink Shoals is under investigation. On Friday, the Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office says a woman called 911 saying her husband had just shot someone in the 2300 block of Pennsylvania Avenue, just north of Charleston. He’s a business owner hit by vandalism and theft recently, so he stayed overnight to keep an eye on things and confronted someone suspicious. 31-year old Daniel Knight of Campbells Creek was eventually found with a gunshot wound and was taken to Charleston Area Medical Center. The Kanawha County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office has the case now, to decide on charges.
