Elkview Man Sought After Shooting

Anyone with information on Steven Carriers of Elkview’s whereabouts is asked to call 911. Dennis Barrett of Clendenin, was at a home on Slacks Branch Road in Quick, and Steven Carrier arrived in a vehicle and started a fight and then got a gun and shot at Barrett. Sgt Sean Snuffer at the Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office says Barrett was struck in the leg with what was believed to be a bullet that had ricocheted. He’ll be okay, but a warrant is out for Carriers.
