Criminal investigation underway after mine rescue
A criminal investigation is underway after four people were rescued from an abandoned mine in Raleigh County. One man walked out of the Rock House Powelton mine near Clear Creek on Monday. Three others were rescued from the mine Wednesday night. The father of one of the women says his daughter went into the mine in search of copper. All four are under criminal investigation.
