Charleston police officer facing domestic battery charges

A Charleston police officer is facing charges of domestic battery…Stephen Doss is accused of slapping and scratching his wife’s face during an argument Saturday at their home in Eleanor. Doss was arrested Saturday night, but he was so intoxicated that he had to be hospitalized. Doss is already on administrative leave after a 2016 auto accident that killed an elderly woman.
