Blankenship expected to serve
A former prosecutor in the case against former mining executive Don Blankenship says the coal company CEO is expected to serve out his full, one-year sentence. Former U.S. Attorney Booth Goodwin made the comments yesterday, a day after Blankenship was sentenced for conspiring to willfully violate mine safety standards at a mine that exploded in 2010, claiming 29 lives.
