Bar Shooting is Under Investigation

Three people are recovering from injuries that turned out to be non-life threatening, after a shooting at a Charleston bar early Saturday. It happened at the Monkey Barrel on Leon Sullivan Way, and Derek Brown was arrested after the shooting and charged with being in possession of a firearm when he was banned from having one. He hasn’t been charged at this point with the shooting, but WCHS TV has detectives saying he’s accused of hiding a gun in a nearby vehicle while he was being questioned. The investigation continues.
