Baby girl dies after medical emergency
Kanawha County deputies are investigating the circumstances that led to the death of an 8-month-old baby. Deputies responded to the Whispering Oaks area of St. Albans Saturday, after a baby was hospitalized for a medical emergency. The baby girl died at the hospital Monday. No charges have been filed.
