Marshall to Raise Tuition

Earlier this week we learned that the Public Service Commission approved a tuition increase for schools including West Virginia University and West Virginia State, and now the Marshall University Board of Governors has approved a tuition hike and general fee increase. Marshall wants to use the extra money for raises for school employees, and the Charleston Gazette reports the increase is about $290 for in-state undergrads, bringing annual tuition and general fees to a total of $6810.
