Charleston is a Finalist for Community Improvement Prize

Charleston has a shot at a major infusion of cash as part of a competition. Portsmouth, Charleston and Huntington are all semifinalists in the $10M America’s Best Communities competition. Frontier Communications made the announcement, and said the cities can win major investments to implement their innovative Community Revitalization Plans.
